I volunteered at ACBF (American Craft Beer Fest) this past weekend in Boston. I had the pleasure of sampling many wonderful offerings, and I plan to post a “Best in Show” summary soon.

Off the top of my head, the standouts for me were Foothills’ Barrel-Aged Sexual Chocolate Stout, Stone’s 2007 Russian Imperial Stout, Brooklyn Brewery’s Intensified Coffee Stout, Stone’s Double-Dry-Hopped Ruination IPA, Surly’s Darkness and Surly’s Furious.
