the cheap beer du jour
I had the pleasure of sampling a Roxy Rolles by Magic Hat last night. It came out of a 12 pack seasonal release, and I picked it up at Tim’s Little Big Store.
A brief aside: Tim’s is the local beer lovers’ wet dream. They have local and global beers, seemingly randomly, for $3.29 a six pack. This isn’t just Budweiser, it’s microbrews and top shelf beer, so to speak. Its hard to pay full price for beer once you’ve been there.
At any rate. Roxy Rolles was awesome. A well hopped amber ale, it was very satisfying. I hope they bring it back next year, and sell it by the 6-pack, not just in the variety packs.
